About Us

Recycle For Education (RCE) is a non-profit organization established in 2007. We aim to create positive change by promoting environmental sustainability and supporting educational initiatives.

With locations in St. Albans and Jamaica, Queens, ReCycle For Education collects and recycles New York-labeled 5-cent bottles and cans in accordance with the New York State Bottle Bill.

This initiative provides a quick and convenient way for individuals to redeem their containers.

In addition to our recycling program, RCE provides financial assistance to students with a C average who want to further their education with a college, trade, or vocational school degree/certification. We also provide volunteer opportunities for students who need community service hours. We don't stop there! ReCycle for Education organizes extraordinary community events such as Customer Appreciation Day, Back-to-School bag giveaways, and scholarship luncheons.

By visiting RCE's locations, our customers not only redeem their items but also become part of a community dedicated to creating a cleaner, greener environment and making a positive impact within the community.
